You are here with a defined purpose

Hello, Positivity Posse! Welcome back to The Positivity Pause Podcast. As usual, I am so excited that you are here with me! Not just because we get to spend this time together, but that also you are prioritizing you. You are taking the time to pause for positivity and to fill you up. This is The Island of Positivity, where we say that we pause to redefine, recharge, reset before we resume. These pauses are really critical to our emotional, mental, and physical health. One of the disciplines on The Island of Positivity as be pause is this framework of the Five Habits of Positivity. Today I would like to introduce you to habit of positivity number four.

Now I love all of these habits, but I really love habit of positivity number four, because it really speaks to the fundamental essence of you. As we pause to consider habit of positivity number four, which says you are here with a defined purpose that is linked to caring for others. You are unique. So, you have a unique and divine purpose that is linked to caring for others. What does that say, as you pause to add to you, as you pause for this positivity?

You might be confronted during the day with things that make you feel as if you're not enough. Things that make you feel as if you have this sense of lack. Things that make you feel as if you don't belong. So many times, we hear the term imposter syndrome, and if we can pause, and constantly pour into ourselves, and remind ourselves that we have a unique divine purpose that is linked to caring for others. That you were positioned here precisely for a time such as this. That no one else can do in this specific way the thing that you are assigned to do, the way that you're assigned to walk through this earth, and that if you don't show up fully and boldly in those assignments, then the world will miss out on the unique blessing that you are supposed to bring to this world.

"No matter what circumstance you were born into, no matter what your situation is, no matter the journey that you have been on, that you are positioned uniquely..."

So, as we pause for positivity we remind ourselves, we embed ourselves, we immerse ourselves, we play over and over in our head. The sense, this reminder, that we are unique, divinely positioned. That no matter what circumstance you were born into, no matter what your situation is, no matter the journey that you have been on, that you are positioned uniquely and that your worth is no different from everyone else who has been positioned in these places and spaces to carry out and to execute a specific set of assignments.

There is no hierarchy in God's kingdom. We are all created equal in his sight. And when we pour into ourselves, we take the time to really celebrate the knowledge of that key fact, that indisputable fact. It allows us to be positioned where we are constantly adding to ourselves rather than taking away from ourselves with the doubts, with the insecurities, with the challenges and the experiences that make us feel as if we're not supposed to be here. So, habit of positivity number four is that critical, fundamental habit that as you pause during this time, and you remind yourself, you will find that you will be elevated above whatever the circumstance is. That you have the sense of power, because you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are here uniquely positioned. That your presence means that someone's life is impacted positively, that you are making a difference and changing lives, and you are fulfilling your divine assignment and purpose. Thank you so much for continuing to pour into yourself and pausing for positivity. God bless you!
