🤎On this President’s Day, I am compelled to single out one president as a proud Black History Month Moment🖤💚Barack Obama is the 44th president and first African-American president of the United States.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 He was elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2012.

🎇Let’s Celebrate President Barack Obama! He is known for his eloquent speeches, which are delivered with charisma, passion, and a unique ability to connect with his audience.🪷

✅ Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

✅ Obama attended Occidental College before transferring to Columbia University where he received his bachelor's degree in political science.

✅ He attended Harvard Law School where he became the first African-American president of the prestigious Harvard Law Review.

✅ Before becoming a politician, Obama worked as a community organizer in Chicago.

✅ He served as a U.S. Senator from Illinois from 2005 to 2008.

✅ During his presidency, Obama signed into law several important pieces of legislation, including the Affordable Care Act and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

✅ In 2009, Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.

✅ President Obama won four Grammy Awards for his audiobook recordings of his books, including "Dreams from My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope."

✅ He continues to be a champion for change through the Obama Foundation, his writing and speaking. On May 7, 2017 Obama received the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award, a prize given to elected officials "who govern for the greater good, even when it is not in their own interest to do so.

✅President Obama, along with First Lady Michelle Obama , started Higher Ground Production Company which won an Emmy for a narrator in a docuseries “Our Great National Parks”.
