This week, I want to focus on the notion of being alone 🤯.
Last week, we discussed resistance and building strength 🏋♀. Now, let's differentiate between being alone and being lonely 🌈.
Being alone means having space and time for yourself, without distractions or expectations 🕒.
It's a temporary situation, and you know you have access to others when needed 🤝.
On the other hand, being lonely is an internal state of feeling a lack of access, like something is permanent and compromising your ability to connect with others 🌪.
We're dealing with an epidemic of loneliness in this country 🌎, so creating space to be alone is crucial for our mental and emotional health 🧠.
I'm practicing what I preach this weekend, enjoying some solo time since my husband Charles is at a conference 📚 and our son Mark is in college 🎓.
One of my favorite solo activities is tending to my garden 🌱, connecting with nature, and finding calm and peace 🌿.
This week, take a positivity pause to spend time alone 🕒.
You'll see how I prioritize my mental, physical, and emotional health during this time 🌟.
