Hello positivity, posse! Welcome back to The Positivity Pause Podcast. I am so excited that you have chosen to spend some time with me, but more importantly, I am beyond thrilled that you have made the choice to press the pause button, to take some time to pour into you. On The Island of Positivity we redefined, recharge, reset before we resume. It is so incredibly important for our mental, emotional, and physical health that these pauses for recovery for restoration for healing are done regularly.

During this pause, we are continuing on our self-care series because one might ask when you take a positivity pause, what do you do during those pauses? So, I'm giving you a blueprint so that as you pause throughout the day, you can be very intentional about how you are caring for yourself in that moment. This is a pause for the things that add to you and positivity will add to you. The things that bring you joy that bring you hope that bring you that feeling of love that strengthen you, those are the things that will add to you. Negativity is designed to take away from you and negativity comes in all forms… fear, worry, regret, discontent, ungratefulness, dissatisfaction, rage. Those are negative emotions that are meant to take away from you.

As we think about self-care and pouring into ourselves in this moment, I would like you to be very intentional about rejecting fear. Self-care is about rejecting and letting go of fear, of letting go of worry, of letting go of feelings of inadequacy, of letting go of just those feelings of regret, feelings of not being enough, feelings of discontent. In this pause your self-care is to press the pause on those emotions and those feelings that leave you in a place of disequilibrium that leave you feeling off kilter, that leave you feeling morose, and just frustrated and sad. Bring yourself into this place of light, where you will choose to focus on the experiences that lift you into this place of feeling hopeful, feeling encouraged, feeling powerful, walking in the knowledge that you can choose.

What is fear? False evidence appearing real. So, negativity will take from you and substitute everything that it is taken with these emotions and make it seem as if they are dominant in your life. In this pause. In this moment, you make a conscious decision that you will not allow fear, feelings of hopelessness, feeling discouraged. You will not allow them in this moment to take any type of precedence, to take any type of position of power in your life. You choose to have dominion over those negative feelings in this pause, you tap into the unlimited power that is yours. That as you think, so you are! In this pause you think I am powerful, I do have the authority to make a choice for love, for joy, I can in this moment focus on the things around me that I am thankful for, and that I make a declaration in this present moment that I have everything that I need, and that I do not walk in fear, that I have been made with all of the power that resides in this unlimited reservoir within myself, because you are made by an unlimited source for which there are no limits to what you have access to.

So, as you make this conscious choice in this moment, in this positivity pause, I invite you to just allow your breath to just in, in a very cleansing breath and release in that declaration that all is well. Focus on taking in all that adds to you and releasing all that takes away, and that does not serve you. Walk fearlessly, knowing that your unlimited source has provided you with everything that you need to walk with confidence! Knowing that there is nothing that will come your way, that you cannot confront, that you cannot deal with, that you do not have the resources to make it through. You have made a choice to walk in your unlimited power and your unlimited authority in this moment. Every time that you take a pause, you remind yourself a fresh, you renew a fresh, you recommit a fresh to the fearlessness. The fierceness that is you. Tap into that unlimited fearlessness, knowing that not even the sky is your limit.
