"Press the pause on all of the negative influences and messages that are swirling around and focus only on what are you adding to yourself..."

.

.

Hello positivity posse. Welcome to the positivity pause podcast. I am so excited that you have taken some time to spend with me, and more importantly, that you have chosen to take some time to pour into you. This is the island of positivity, where we are redefining, recharging, resetting before we resume. The reason that I am so excited that you have joined today is because it means that you are actually taking a moment to pour into yourself and to elevate your mental, emotional, and physical health.

When we can take the time to press the pause on all of the negative influences and messages that are swirling around and focus only on what are you adding to yourself it creates this opportunity for self-care. What do we do in these pauses that create this positive opportunity for self-care? We can break it down into eight categories. I spoke about the “S” for that spiritual connection, the “E” for self-expression and the “L” is for self-love.

Self-love is a radical act of resistance. Resistance to the messages that circle around us every day that are meant to make us feel that we are not enough. That you must strive to be something other than who you are, that you must strive to be younger, to be older, to be thinner, to be heavier, to have longer here, to have curlier hair, to have longer eyelashes and the list goes on and on and on. To be more of a leader, to drive a better car, to have more money, to live in a particular neighborhood, to have your children go to a particular school, to where only certain designers, the list is endless. All of those messages are designed to create this impression that as you are, you were not enough or that somehow, by having these external trappings defines your worth.

"We so often love others with a passion, with an unselfishness, with a degree of unconditional love. Do we do that to ourselves?"

.

.

This pause for self-love is to assure you that you are enough. That there is nothing wrong with wanting to have nice things, but that those things do not define you. That they don't make you the incredible unique, phenomenal, wonderfully person that you are. We so often love others with a passion, with an unselfishness, with a degree of unconditional love. Do we do that to ourselves? This pause is an opportunity for you to shift from the love that you so freely give to others to turn it towards yourself, because we cannot give what we don't have. You cannot give what you don't have. So if you do not set an intention to love yourself, then you cannot possibly love anyone else and the things that you might be doing that demonstrate love and that you think is an expression of love those are just things. They are not the true expression, the true reflection of you.

In love we do give from this deep, authentic place within ourselves and so we are giving a piece of ourselves when we love. In order to make sure that we are not depleting ourselves we first need to ensure that we are loving ourselves, that we are filling up on our tank of love so that then we can express it freely. It is what makes the world go around and so when you take this pause for self-love to do all of the practices that remind you of your divine worth. That you were made uniquely especially in the exact mold that is you and that everything about you is lovable, is worthy of love, is deserving of love and must be love.

You set the stage, you set the tone, you create the blueprint, you light the path for how you should be loved. When others see how you love on yourself, they are instructed on how they should love on you. When others see how you love on them from a place of abundance, from a place of overflow, it models for them the ability to love on themself from a place of abundance and overflow. That creates a cycle of abundant health, wellness, and wellbeing that is unlimited.

So I commend you for taking this time to love on yourself, to tap into your unlimited, to manifest your unlimited love and in, so doing spread your love to the world with no inhibition, because you have taken the time to build restore and access you're unlimited love. Your emotional, mental and physical health is elevated, is restored, is increased and you are living from a place of your unlimited. You are boldly declaring that you are enough that yourself, your very essence, your very being is worthy of unlimited love, which positions you to give unlimited love and to embrace the mantra, not even the sky is the limit. God Bless.
