Hello positivity posse. Welcome back to the positivity pause podcast. I am so excited that you have chosen to spend some time with me today, but even more important is that you have chosen the press, the pause button to pour in to you. That you have made a choice for self care and in this moment of pause, you are choosing to redefine, recharge, reset before you resume and this is so incredibly important to your mental, emotional, and physical health that these periods of recovery and restoration are peppered throughout your day. Just give you just a little bit of time to disconnect from everything that pulls at you, everything that is demanding from you, everything that is taking something from you and that you set this intention to add to yourself, to fill back up.

This week we have been focusing on self love, the loving connection to you as you connect to who you are, as you know who you are, as you don't compare yourself to anyone else, as you reject this notion that you have to be perfect, and that you come into this place that loving yourself is not arrogant, nor is it vain. There are times when many of us might recognize we have been conditioned to somehow think that if you love on yourself, that that is narcissistic and that is arrogant and that it is vain. I am here to reinforce, and to affirm that first you must love yourself as God loves you. You were made for love, you were designed from love,  you were designed for love, you were designed to love. Certainly there is no way that this amazing creator who has fashioned us in the image of himself would have an expectation that if he loves you, that you were not then meant to love yourself because as you love him, as you love yourself being made in his image by so doing you love on him.

"Breathe in, inhale, take in all of the beautifully created being that you are and spend this moment, just filling yourself up with that Love, that divine unlimited love that created you."

If you cannot love the handiwork that he has fashioned, how could you possibly love him? If you do not love what was created, how can you love the creator? So you were made to love on yourself to recognize the amazing handiwork and what better gift do you give to the giver, then loving the gift. How often do you give a gift to someone, a piece of clothing, a piece of jewelry, some artwork, something that you give, and what does it do to your heart? When you see the person to whom you have given the gift, you see them wearing what you have given them doesn't that make your heart sing? Similarly, it makes God's heart sing when you love the gift that he has given, which is you and your life. So as you take this pause and you turn your attention to the miraculous work, that you are the miraculous creation that you are, the amazing gift that you are, that you love on yourself in acknowledgement for how wonderfully supernaturally made you are. Doing so is not arrogant and it is not a vain, it walks in alignment with what God has created you to do in.

So revel in your beauty, revel in your worth, revel in your awesomeness, revel in your generosity, revel in your uniqueness. Breathe in, inhale, take in all of the beautifully created being that you are and spend this moment, just filling yourself up with that Love, that divine unlimited love that created you. Feel the warmth and the abundance in it, bathe in it, allow yourself to be surrounded by it. As you repeat this action throughout the day, as you take these pauses to recognize that you were made for love to love yourself, God, others, that is what your purpose is. You have unlimited access to that love. you get to express it in an unlimited way to yourself and to others. Not even the sky is your living. God bless.
