Hello, Positivity Posse!

Today, I want to give you the positivity plan. The template for what you can expect for the upcoming weeks. This is such an important pause, and I hope that you are in a comfortable place, and you were inhaling and exhaling. Just allowing yourself the opportunity to just spend time pouring into you.

On Mondays, we're going to have a #PositivityPush. Sometimes you really have to put your hand up to negativity and just get pushed out there to resist and defeat the negative thoughts that will assault you. So, we're going to have a #PositivityPush and we're going to use the power of story. I will be interviewing someone within our positivity posse tribe that will literally talk about their journey. How their powers of positivity, their attitude, their ability to think positively, and to just put their hands up to negativity, help them to overcome their challenging circumstances. Literally coming out on the other side, empowered, strengthened, more full of faith, more able to access resources. We will be sharing a story that will help you to be inspired and encouraged!

On Tuesdays it's going to be a #PositivityPurpose. There are so many thought leaders that have done and are continuing to do the work of why positivity is important. I want to equip you with this knowledge so that you can see that this is not some made up, kind of fictitious, type of construct. There is real data that supports the importance of how we develop a process of positivity. Because I've already told you, I use the power of story to educate, elevate, and empower (and at heart I am a teacher) I want to make sure that at least once a week I am going to be bringing some information to you from the world of positivity, to help you to understand its role and its function.

On Wednesdays we're going to have our #PositivityPractice. I have developed my five habits of positivity that I will review with you. Then we will go through the tools that as you were taking your positivity pause, you're going to be embedding, and practicing, and applying it in all elements, in all aspects of your life.

On Thursdays, it's going to be a #PositivityPearl. So, there's going to be some little story, some vignettes, some experience that I have had. I can tell you my days, certainly as a; urological surgeon, as a mom, as a wife, as a daughter, as a friend, as a member of any number of different organizations, as an author, and artist, I have so many stories that I can't wait to share with you because I will always extract a positivity pearl that you can reflect on during the day and during the week.

And then the last day of the week, (which is, well the workweek) which is Friday, is going to be a #PositivityParty. We're going to take the time to celebrate our wins, we're going to take the time to celebrate with affirmations, we are going to take that pause to just let it all hang out.

My hope is that you will use these podcasts (many of them will be five minutes so that it is a short pause), and that you can play them throughout the day. Just remind yourself, to take your pauses frequently and regularly, to just bring you to the space of centeredness, and that this will be a blessing too. As you develop a discipline around taking those pauses, embedding the positivity process, and what this will result in is a shift in your mindset. You will find that you will approach your life in such a different way that allows you to show up empowered and then become yourself a positivity catalyst in your own environment. God bless you. Not even the sky's the limit!
