Positivity Pause - #MotivationMonday - 🏛Your body is your Temple

🕊 It’s #MotivationMonday, and it's time for your #PositivityPause 🕊

TAKE a moment to inhale for a count of 3, hold for a count of 3, exhale for a count of 3🧘🏽‍♀🧘🏼‍♂🧘🏾

🏛Your body is your temple

⿡And we only have ONE body!

💯So we must CARE for it from the INSIDE OUT.

💪🏾It requires intention and work.

👵🏾My mom always says that the HOPE of reward SWEETENS labor.

😭So as much as I dislike strength training, I started my day with weights.

BECAUSE

💦Even though the lifting is hard, and I fuss and complain every step of the way, I know my reward is

Stronger core which decreases the risk of injury
Stronger bones which decrease the risk of fracture
Stronger heart which decreases the risk of cardiovascular disease
Stronger mind which leads to improved mood and resilience
Stronger connection to self as you see the manifestation of your work and it motivates and encourages you to keep going.

Even better if you can exercise outside🌺🌳

⏸Take a Pause to care for your Temple🦵🏽It’s will ADD to you and prolong your life. Take simple fists steps. 25 squats with a 10 lb bag of sugar or flour, or anything in your home or work that weighs 10 lbs, is an easy way to start. Then hold that weighed item to both hands and raise the item above your head 25 times. Do it at your pace and take small breaks if needed. You have just made a positive impact on your body and health today! 🌿🫀🏋🏾
