SET the ATMOSPHERE!
Part of my SelfCare practice is to anchor myself spiritually every morning. It sets me up for success and SETS my INTERNAL ATMOSPHERE.As I headed to the OR at 6.45 today, I dialed into my daily Prayerline, and after I saw my patient in preop, I tuned into the 7.45 morning blessing .
๐ต๐ธOne of the ways that I SET the ATMOSPHERE in my OR is I will play the Michael Jackson pandora station on my Boze speaker. The music from the artists in that era is timeless and it puts everyone in a good mood๐บ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฝ
๐๐As I entered the Operating Room and turn on the Boze speaker, it connected to my morning prayer blessings playing softly on my phone.๐๐พ๐๐พ My initial response was to hasten to turn it off lest I somehow violate some hospital policy, but I noticed the laser tech drawing close to the speaker and he said he was appreciating the blessing๐๐๐พ Similarly, the nurse started uttering words of praise , so I turned the volume up so everyone could hear๐๐พ๐๐พ๐ฆป
๐ผ๐พThere was a perceptible shift in the room after the blessing. Everyone vocalized how powerful it was to start with prayer. There was a peace, light and a feeling of wonderful connection as we began our healing assignment. ๐ฉบ๐ฅผ๐ทThe ATMOSPHERE was blessed, the team was blessed and as a result the patients were blessed and all did well๐๐พ๐ผ๐พ♥
