You Are Energy

It’s time for a #POSITIVITYPAUSE 🕊

TAKE a moment to inhale for a count of 3, hold for a count of 3, exhale for a count of 3🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏼‍♂️🧘🏾

Our Energy Lives On⚡

😢The holidays can be such a tough season if you have recently lost a loved one. It may seem as if there can be no possible way to pause for positivity when you are in throes of acute loss.

🌧Approximately 4 months ago, one of my patients was extremely distraught during her visit and shared that she had lost both her husband of 60 years and her daughter during the 4 months since I had last seen her. She could not imagine how she could go on. As I hugged and comforted her, I offered that we are energy⚡ Laws of nature dictate that energy is always conserved. Thus, the loss of the body just means that our energy is manifest in a different form and that her husband’s and daughter’s energy still surround her.

🙏🏾 If she opens herself to this notion, she will feel their energy in the memories, the things that they shared, the places they frequented and in the simple every day experiences where their voices whisper to her heart♥

⏳⏳⏳3 months after that visit , I saw her again in follow up. She had an air of excitement as she looked forward to celebrating her next birthday! She felt as if she was living again💛

🤗I asked her what had contributed to this shift. She simply said… TIME….the great HEALER . Somehow, during our visit, I had introduced a way to think about loss that she had not considered.

🌞She offers HOPE that with time healing can happen.

⏸Positivity Pauses are taking time for things that add. It doesn’t mean you have to feel positive. It just means that you make room for things to add to you .

🙏🏾I hope that if you are dealing with loss, this pause to sit with these words of hope, care, comfort and encouragement brings a little ray of light that helps guide you along your day.
